Start with your setting

Set aside time when you do not need to drive, operate machinery, supervise someone or respond to an immediate hazard. Choose a comfortable position in a place where reducing alertness is safe.

Check the volume before you begin and keep the pause or stop control within reach. You can keep your eyes open. Do not force breathing or continue through discomfort.

Choose one goal and share only what is needed

An everyday goal such as taking a quiet pause is enough. You do not need to disclose names, contact details or a full medical history. Read the processing notice before entering sensitive information.

Answer required safety questions honestly. The application may ask for clarification, offer a limited general option or stop the session request. A safety check is not a clinical assessment.

Review the text and plan the ending

Read the complete written session before requesting narration. If the wording does not suit you, stop and reconsider the session.

Choose a sleep ending only when it is available, you intend to sleep and you are already in a safe place to do so. Other endings guide you back to ordinary alertness. Allow yourself time to become fully alert before resuming activities that require attention.

Notice your response

Relaxation techniques can sometimes bring up anxiety or unwanted thoughts. If a session increases distress, stop and return your attention to your surroundings. Seek professional advice about persistent or concerning symptoms.
